Last Club Dives by Dan Schwartz Part I

Our first Club Dive of Spring brought us to Stillwater Cove, Monterey. While I on the Cypress Sea was getting re-certified for Reef Check Curt and Carol paddled up off the 17th tee and brought a nice bunch of fish to their dinner table.

Our next Club Dive was the opening of Ab season in Mendocino.

A few of us came up to the Mendocino cabin Saturday morning. I popped some ab and put Sheila on a kayak in Van Damme. Jene was already there, as was Pete and Kaii. Polly, Roy, Curt qand Carol would come later that afternoon and evening.

The cove was calm and it was pretty esy to get limit. I also went up on the washrocks to get some mussels but they were pretty small.

The next day Pete put Kaii in a wetsuit for the first time off the Headlands,

while the rest of us headed out to Caspar.

We paddled south cove into a shallow area until the surf started coming in.

We pulled back, still staying on the southern end of the point and pulled some ab.
