October Club Dive Outing by Curt "Ling King" Haney

The BCD October weekend dive trip at Gualala River Campground was a great success.

We didn't have a big group but we had lots of fun. Roy, Dan, Pete and Kai along with Carol and Curt made up the group for the weekend. The weather cooperated and so did the sea. We had sunshine and calm seas with very decent visability of 15 to 20 feet.

Stengal Beach, Sea Ranch

We dove at Stengal Beach in Sea Ranch on Sunday. Instead of dragging four boats and gear down the steep steps to the beach we decided to take two boats down and share them with four divers. Roy and Pete went out first to the south and got their abs and came back in. Then Carol and I went out to the North and got our abs as well. Dan was not feeling well so he stayed onshore and guarded our cars.

Overall it was a great outing and everyone had a great time.
